A Foot Health Practitioner (FHP) is fully qualified to undertake a variety of routine work, necessary to maintain the health of the foot. The role of a Foot Health Practitioner is to provide people with professional general footcare to help avoid the development of problems that may impact on their health.

  • Nail cutting
  • Corns
  • Calluses
  • Advice and initial treatment for ingrowing toenails
  • Verruca advice and treatment
  • Advice for bacterial and fungal infections of the skin including Athlete’s Foot
  • Treatment for fungal nail infections
  • Diabetic foot assessment, advice and regular routine care
  • General advice and guidance on foot care and footwear

A doctor’s referral is not necessary and you may be seen the day of your call. Appointments are usually from 8:30am to 5:30pm, but early and late appointments can be made by arrangement. We offer late appointments on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as well as Saturday appointments.
